The Beginning

I was born as an artist.  I just needed a few years to figure out which canvas to use.
Since I was little I always enjoyed doing make-up and hair for my cousins, sister, and mom. I just never thought this hobby would become my career.

I love weddings and everything about them. Most litte girls are fascinated by weddings but my interest in them always felt different because I was so much more curious about everything... the wedding parties, dresses, make-up, photos, etc.
I was especially amazed at how the bride of a wedding can always look so beautiful.  And so my career began...

It's an amazing feeling for me when after I do make-up for a client, she looks in the mirror and says, "WOW!" with the biggest smile on her face. It means even more to me when her husband looks at her and smiles as well. I also can't wait until they get to the ceremony, when everybody tells her how beautiful she looks.  After the wedding is over, I can't wait to see her on a photograph as a work of art.

I received my formal education in make-up through PAC by Martha Tillaar (Indonesia) in 2005, and I also took several private classes from a renowned make up artist in my country because I always had a desire to learn more.
My mentors often told me that I didn't have anything more to learn because they saw that this was an art form that was already in my blood. I guess I was born with it! ;)
